Pilot for new training - Made of Money (6 week course)
Every Thursday from 7 September 2017 –12 October 2017 from 12pm-2pm
We are running our first /pilot 6 week course and are looking for 10 parent carers to participate.
Made of Money is a course about money… but not as you know it! It’s fun, relaxed and covers things that are useful to everyone.
Some of the things we will be looking at include:
- How to save money
- Understanding budgeting, credit and debt
- How we talk to other people about money, be it friends, family or banks
We will be doing this in lots of different ways, taste testing food, games and lots of chances to talk (or not if you prefer), as well as giving you practical tools to take away and use at home.
Problem Solving Toolkit
Wednesday 20th September 10am - 2.30pm
Cerebra will be running a free workshop designed to help families access the services that your children need, and are entitled to. The main focus will be on how to use their toolkit (click here to access the toolkit) to resolve commonly occurring problems in accessing public services. The workshop isn’t about giving legal advice or solving individual issues, but about general strategies that parent/carers and professionals who support families can use to get the services that they need for their child and family.
