We are currently looking to expand our Board of Trustees and therefore we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with a passion to support families, who is able to volunteer some of their time to make a difference to our charity.
We are looking for an experienced individual with good interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in any of the following fields:
- Education - mainstream and/or SEN
- Health or social care
- Human Resources
- Marketing, fundraising and bid writing
- Community Leadership
Main purpose of the role is:
- To ensure that the organisation complies with its governing document, charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or regulation;
- To actively contribute to the Board of Trustees by providing strategic direction to the organisation, setting overall policy, defining goals and targets and evaluating performance.
